DIGITAL CONTENT CREATION SKILLS
VIDEO EDITING
From my education at NYU and my time working at ABC News, I have become an experienced editor on a variety of platforms. I am most familiar with AVID, Adobe Premiere and Premiere Pro, and Hindenburg, but my experience allows me to quickly adapt to any other editing software.
PRODUCTION
In my role as a production associate, I frequently stepped up in a producer role on pieces I worked on. I have experience booking characters and crews, setting up shoots, writing questions for and conducting interviews, as well as ingesting and getting selects of the material. Further, I am experienced in writing scripts and collaborating with editors as well as senior and executive producers prior to airing pieces I have worked on.
WRITING AND REPORTING
In receiving my graduate degree, I specialized in magazine writing and digital reporting. My strong writing background has allowed me to work for multiple digital publications - covering topics ranging from pop culture to investigative local news.
SOCIAL MEDIA
I have managed and created content for multiple social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok. My work at ABC News involved managing social media accounts with over 1 million followers in total, and my work gained more than 7,000 followers in one week for Instagram alone.
